Our book club had read the book "The Help" several months ago....universally liked (which is unusual in our group!) We went to see the movie on opening night - it was PACKED - we could only find a couple of seats together and had to spread out in the theater!! Bravo - a really good movie - and you don't need to read the book first!!!

I'm going to see it...I haven't read the book yet though...Even Scout and Papa say that it looks like a good movie...I still doubt they'll go see it with me...

My bookclub is going to see The Help tomorrow night!
I will wait til I read the book, on Bridget's advice. Trudi has a copy and will loan it to me when she finishes it. I have heard both are very good. MOM
