More from Ocracoke

I couldn't get an internet connection for several days....I was in withdrawal, of course!

We had a great time once again on Ocracoke! We went to a local pub for our favorite local "group" - Jamie and Marc....they take requests and play lots of ballads and southern rock. Nice folks. Not the best musicians in the world....but nice folks.

Diane and Pat had to dance, of course. I never seem to be able to get a good photo of them dancing - they're too quick!!

Sharon took this nice photo of Duane and I at the Dajio pub (used to be the Pelican).

Much biking was accomplished, as usual.

We went for a hike on the nature trail - Peggy, me, Emma and Jeannine. Buddy and Duane are hiding in the background.

No photos of Luke yet - because he's off on a fishing charter with Capt. John and his dad, Rich. We're at the Jolly Roger again waiting for their return.

Off in the distance, we see them motoring towards the dock.

Capt'n John's boat is called Fish Tale - he specializes in fishing trips with kids on board.

Here's Luke with his Bluefish!

After all that fishing, it was time for the swimming pool....and, of course, the annual "belly flop contest".

Pat had to try his hand (or belly!)

Luke doing his wide-open crash into the water. I think he won!

Here I am trying to be as "flat" to the water as possible. I'll tell you, it was painful!!!

After the swimming, time for the cookout. First, they grilled Luke's blue - he had a taste and let us all have a bite. It was really good!

Rich at the grill - relaxing and volleyball in the background.

Great fun! More later.
