I expected today to be really boring. The weather forecast was for cloudy skies and rain. Usually that makes me the "Lonely Maytag Repair(wo)man".
But, for some reason, it was busy all day! Interesting aircraft today!

hey - i spoke to the pilots, asking them how often they did water landings. they said "not ever" - those are safety devices, unlike floats on planes that are used to takeoff/land on a lake. interesting - i don't think i'd want to be over water in a helicopter anyway! (of course, i don't like riding in a helicopter at all, much less over water!!) love, k
