Our neighbor dog - A.D. a.k.a Airport Dog is normally kept from roaming by one of those electronic fences. She normally just sits and stares longingly when Pat and/or Diane travel past her "limits".
Today, Pat came down and borrowed the tractor....now, a couple of hours later - I look out the kitchen window and see A.D. roaming about in our yard - very strange - she is NEVER out of her fence unless Pat and Diane take her out.
So, I call to her - she runs cheerfully to me. I've taken her inside - and will keep her until Pat comes back with the tractor - so she'll be safe from the dreaded highway!!

Lucky dog to have everyone take such good care of him. Maybe he just wanted to visit you. E
I love A.D. - she's always so cheerful! I especially love the picture of Richard sledding where she's about to bite his arm off!
What a sweet neighbor you are - I'm sure you like having that sweetie in your house anyway...
Love,
T
hey miranda, yes, she's a sweet puppy - and the photo you're referring to is wildly "wrong" about her!
yup, nice having a pup for a while...but i do like the absence of dog hair that comes with being "dogless"
love, k
Whew...that was too close for comfort for "A.D"!!! That's the biggest "downfall" of living in the country - too many animals running willy nilly on roads where drivers are going WAY too fast for my liking!! To say nothing about running down a "side road" only to be chased by an unrestrained canine! Yikes!!! Here's my public service announcement right on your blog, Karen - pet owners, PLEASE secure your four legged friends! It's for their own safety!!
Hope you had a WONDERFUL mother's day blog buddy!!!
