Thanks for letting me bore you with our vacation photos!
Today we ventured out for more sight-seeing. First on the list was the "crookedest street". This is a section of Lombard St. that you've probably seen on TV or in the movies. It really is crooked and steep! A fun little drive but not nearly as long as I assumed. It would have been fun to zoom down it in a sports car.....not so much in a mini-van!
Love the views driving on the streets. Always a hill!
Next up was the Golden Gate bridge. Stunning even from a distance.
We headed across the Golden Gate enroute to Muir Woods - an old-growth redwood forest.
Amazing trees!!
Haha - Robert in a tree.
The forest was very damp - almost no sunlight gets thru to the ground.
Driving back towards San Francisco - the views of the valleys were beautiful.
Back in San Francisco, we spied this artist painting the street scene in front of him. Very nicely done.
