Miranda's birthday dinner

We met Richard & Miranda and Miranda's family in Chapel Hill at the Mediterranean Deli for a quick birthday meal.

You know it's gonna be good when the "condiment bar" has all this yummy stuff!  Pickles, garlic sauce, pickled turnips, olives, hot sauces, cucumber sauce...yum!!

My platter - saffron rice, a lentil salad, a fabulous mango/pineapple salad, pita, roasted tomato and jalapeno, more cucumber sauce.  It was terrific!  Happy Bday Miranda!
